Development of Teaching and Active Learning (revised 2017)

The aim of the University Teaching Qualification (UTQ) programme is to allow teachers to prove they possess the basic skills to develop and teach academic courses. Module 21 contains the basis of the development of education. The course focuses on learning how to develop and stimulate active learning.

Learning Goals

  • Develop or redevelop (parts of) a course using specifically formulated learning objectives.
  • Develop (or adapt) teaching methods and associated study material so that they are effective, efficient and motivating.
  • Apply the appropriate didactical methods to your own course(s): aligned learning objectives, activities and assessment.
